Lies, Lies, and More Lies

Robert Stutman is still arguing the same kind of nonsense Harry Anslinger used to get marijuana outlawed in the first place.

The best reason Stutman can come up with for banning marijuana is “for the simple reason that we will have far more users,” but without any specific danger, there’s no reason to worry about how many users there are.

Stutman is completely off the rails with his claim that marijuana users consume more alcohol and are more susceptible to binge drinking.

The observed fact is that marijuana users reduce drinking across the board. I can personally vouch for the sobering influence of cannabis after seeing 3 heavy drinking friends quit boozing altogether after beginning to use pot regularly.

Stutman pretends to be guided by science, but sticks up for marijuana laws based on reefer madness lies- “[Smoking] one [marihuana] cigarette might develop a homicidal mania, probably to kill his brother.” (see US Government Propaganda To Outlaw Marijuana - http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/hemp/taxact/t3.htm)

Marijuana prohibition is entirely based on lies, dissembling and racist propaganda. Robert Stutman should be ashamed because every fact stands against drug prohibition. (see: http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/index.HTM )
